Anthony Ferris

Anthony Ferris, resident of Troy for the last 25 years, during which time he was widely know as a merchant, died last night at his residence, 41 Ida Street, after a short illness. He was born in Syria. He was a member of St. Ann’s Church. The survivors include three sons, John and Joseph Ferris of Troy and Alexander Ferris of South America, and three daughters. Mrs. Fred Freije and Mrs. Margaret Shama of Troy and Miss Elisabeth Ferris of Syria. The funeral will be conducted from the residence tomorrow morning at 9 o’clock, thence to St. Ann’s Church where at 9:30 o’clock a requiem mass will be sung. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
